Venatrix is not your typical recruitment agency, so they needed something other than your typical website. The responsive site was built to appeal to younger clientele, and to make it easy to match applicants to jobs.
Toby is a session drummer who needed a website to showcase his skills across many drum styles. Testimonials on Toby’s page demonstrate his reliability and the graphic-rich page grabs the attention of site visitors.
The site is built using WordPress, which allows Toby to manage the site himself, uploading testimonials and videos.
Josh is a rising star in the world of music videos and live-performance recording and needed a new website to present his showreel to potential clients. The site is optimised for speed, despite being media-rich.
Fader Media needed a brand, as well as a simple, striking website to act as a sort of on-line business card. This site responds beautifully to different screen sizes and conveys all of the information a client might need.
Home Lowdown is a prospective tenant’s dream-come-true. The site allows users to create and find renters’ reviews for an address. I created the branding for Home Lowdown, and designed and built the site with a custom PHP back-end. The site is SEO optimised and uses the Google Maps API to ensure consistency in addresses.
As a fully responsive site, although it is content-rich, Home Lowdown looks beautiful on any screen size and device.
Karen recently decided to jump head-first into the world of Yoga. As a new business (Timeless Minds), she needed the full works, including a brand, website, business cards and flyers. I worked with Karen to provide everything she needed to kick-start her new venture.
The website is visually stunning, conveying the relaxed feel that her classes inspire. The site responds to any screen size, and allows clients to pay for classes on-line.
This is an idea of my own making. I became frustrated after visiting hundreds of ski-operator websites, and filling in the same information on dozens of forms, only to end up having to call the reps anyway. This resulted in endless unwanted follow-up calls from the operators. SnowQuote allows users to post their holiday requirements on-line and operators to submit their best match.
The website is visually unique, and designed to draw in skiers and snowboarders. The website scales beautifully to any screen size.
Joanne recently took the brave step of starting her own business. To embark on her new venture, she needed a strong image and on-line presence. I worked with Joanne to develop a logo and brand image. Around this, I designed and built a website, flyers and a business card for Joanne. I also helped Joanne to set up her social media accounts including Facebook and Twitter.
The website is completely responsive, displaying beautifully on any device from mobile phone to desktop.
Summit Equipment are a successful company local to Lytham St.Annes, Lancashire. They manufacture and sell a range of outdoor accessories including their famous bothy bags.
Summit desperately needed a website refresh which would allow them to sell to mobile, tablet and computer users alike. After investigating a range of online options, we decided that hosting their own store would give us the flexibility we need, without incurring unnecessary costs on each translation. The store was built using the popular WooCommerce module for WordPress. A beautiful, custom WooCommerce theme was built to meet Summit’s needs.
Another of my first websites. Health-MOT uses a bespoke theme built on the WordPress platform and focuses around a blog and members’ area to deliver content. The site acts as a central hub to co-ordinate all of Matt’s social media activity.
I also developed the branding for Health MOT and have produced a range of printed materials to complement the Health MOT website.
Another of my first websites. Matt is a fitness guru who operates as a health, training and lifestyle consultant in Preston, Lancashire. Matt needed a site which he could show potential clients. The site had to look classy, and accommodate Matt’s YouTube video series. A Tumblr blog was later added to this site.
I have also produced a range of printed materials for Matt, including flyers and Newsletters.
Sleepers UK requested a super-simple site with basic functionality and a focus on showcasing the vans in a visual manner. I opted for a single animated page highlighting the range of available options via iconography and large photo carousel.
I worked with the owner to craft the beautifully animated contact form which simplifies the enquiry process.
My very first website! Short, simple and to the point.
